Our Be A Tiger For Kids event was a great success! More than 5,000 people attended the fifth annual event held August 24, 2010. Cornerstone alumni greeted participants as they entered the tailgate party at Ford Field. Highlights included food and beverages provided by Big Boy and Pepsi, snacks provided by Better Made and Rocky Produce, face painting, live music performed by the Sun Messengers, perfect weather, Cornerstone students taking the field with the Detroit Tigers, Cornerstone Partner Rich Rickert, from Lamar Advertising, catching a foul ball from Detroit Tigers' own Ryan Raburn and the Detroit Tigers beating the Kansas City Royals!
Michelle Dortch, a Cornerstone Schools parent, told us that the Be A Tiger For Kids event was “beneficial and rewarding for the kids of Cornerstone!” It was a night to remember. We are very grateful to everyone who supported the Be A Tiger For Kids event, including our sponsors:
