Our 8th annual Be A Tiger For Kids event was one to remember, thanks to the support of more than 3,000 attendees, who helped raise much needed scholarship funds for the over 550 children who attend Cornerstone Schools.
The evening began at the Rock-n-Roar tailgate where the crowd danced away to the live set performed by the Simone Vitale Band. Food was provided by Tubby’s and Better Made, beverages were provided by Pepsi and snacks were provided by Starbucks, Kar’s Nuts, Culinarian’s Corner, Gabby’s Garden and Andrews Brothers Produce.
A highlight to the evening was the pre-game ceremony that recognized several Partners and students for their participation in the Partner Program. This ceremony was followed by a special performance by the Cornerstone Honors Choir of the national anthem written by Cornerstone alumnus, Joshua Davis. Tubby’s CEO, Bob Paganes, and Cornerstone Partner, Matthew McCormick, threw out ceremonial first pitches.
It was a fabulous evening for our outdoor Rock-N-Roar tailgate and a baseball game. Even though the Tigers couldn’t pull off a win against the Twins, the night was certainly a winner for the children of Cornerstone!
All in all, the event was a truly memorable. We hope that you will join us next year and Be A Tiger for Kids!
We are very grateful to everyone who supported the Be A Tiger For Kids event. The evening would not have been possible without our event sponsors:
