Cornerstone is a Christ-centered school and all students receive concentrated instruction in the spirit of Jesus. Through prayer services, community service, and religious instruction, we emphasize the life and essential teachings of Jesus as found in the Gospels as well as those characteristics that are highlighted throughout the Bible and in the lives of historical individuals. 

 

Our students begin their day in prayer, as does our staff. At every grade level from Pre-K through high school, Cornerstone focuses on the Fruits of the Spirit. This includes an education in morals and values in tandem with character development in regard to kindness, peace, gratitude, self-control, gentleness, goodness, patience, faithfulness, love and citizenship.

 

At Cornerstone we believe an excellent education encourages a student to seek truth, to a disciplined mind and a wise, kind, courageous, joyful, and discerning heart, to serve humbly, to respect and work with others, to pursue excellence, to develop good judgment, to seek what is good, to do what is right, and to accept responsibility for one’s actions.

 

Keep in mind we accept children of all religions and encourage families to remain involved in their own church as well as at school. Our graduates will be prepared to seek truth and do what is good with disciplined, learned, and inquiring minds and wise, kind, and discerning hearts. In this way we develop servant leaders that will create a new city for all.
