In 2010, Excellent Schools Detroit ranked Cornerstone the number one elementary school in the city.  Students perform at one to two grade levels above the state average in all subjects thanks to a rigorous curriculum and high expectations with directed by data-based decisions. We are happy to say that our young ladies and gentlemen are as exemplary in character as they are academics.

Students use technology like e-learning and Plato software to engage self-directed learning. Both online and classroom experiences allow our children to advance at his or her own pace, and move to the next level when they have truly learned the materials presented.

Every third grader receives and learns the violin, which has been proven to improve concentration and mathematical skills. We also offer languages like Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. After school activities include sports, chess, scouting, music and much more.

The cost of a Cornerstone Primary School education is on par with other prestigious and nationally recognized schools at $12,800 per year.  The value of a Cornerstone education, however, stands alone in that parents are able to secure an excellent education for their children by paying only $5,450 in tuition and a $500 enrollment fee (non-refundable).  This is due completely to the generosity of members of our broad and beloved community who graciously donate the monetary difference in scholarship funds and participation in annual community-building events.
