Cornerstone Leadership and Business High School Overview

Our Leadership & Business High School serves only 150 students and provides unheard of opportunities for those interested in a successful career in leadership and business. Our first freshman class started school in fall of 2011, to great fanfare and we are poised to begin educating our first class of 11th grade students in the fall of 2013. Specializing in business as well as leadership, our high school is designed to prepare a future generation of leaders.

We combine technology with classroom and real-world experience. Both e-learning and individualized learning will create an education, customized for every student; ensuring their academic success. Another component of which we are extremely proud is key partnerships with local businesses that provide students with business internships that provide opportunities for networking and hands-on experience in various industries and companies.

Active involvement in a professional organization will result in real-world skills, experience and access that most high school students could only dream of. Community service opportunities are made available to also allow our students to thrive and understand the value of giving back.

Students have the opportunity to perform dual- degree course work of rigorous high school and college level courses. They can actually earn college credits for selected coursework! Students benefit on all levels from a challenging and enriched academic environment.

The cost of a Cornerstone High School education is on par with other prestigious and nationally recognized schools at $14,000 per year.  The value of a Cornerstone education, however, stands alone in that parents are able to secure an excellent education for their children by paying only $6,000 in tuition and a $500 enrollment fee (non-refundable).  This is due completely to the generosity of members of our broad and beloved community, who graciously donate the monetary difference in scholarship funds and participation in annual community-building events.

Ultimately, we seek big things for our young people – college graduation and college acceptance with scores of 25 to 33 on the ACT.  With an education like this, our young people will be well on their way to creating a new city for all.

Businesses can participate by covering the annual tuition of one of our students for $7,500. Not only will this potentially cover the cost of their education but you’ll also receive the assistance of one of our interns to work at your place of business. That way they’ll learn on the job, and you’ll have a hand in training our communities’ future leaders.
